Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a referral from my GP?
A: No referral is needed. Many clients work with me alongside their GP or menopause clinic, not instead of them.
Q: Do you offer in-person sessions, or is it online only?
A: The initial review is online. For the Midlife Reset Quick Start and Unpause programmes, in-person sessions are available if you're based in the city centre or Greater Edinburgh area – online remains available UK-wide and beyond.
Q: How soon can I book?
A: You can book your Midlife Nutrition & Wellness Review directly online via the booking page. Availability is usually within a week, with slots open up to two weeks ahead.
Q: Am I committed to a longer programme after the initial Review?
A: No. The review stands on its own – you'll leave with 3-5 practical next steps whether or not you choose to continue. Many clients do go on to Midlife Reset Quick Start or Unpause, but there's no obligation.
Q: What's the difference between Midlife Reset Quick Start and Unpause?
A: Midlife Reset Quick Start (£385) is built for women who want a clear personalised plan plus the tools and confidence to run with it themselves, with two follow-up calls and 30 days of support. Unpause (£985) is 12 weeks of more hands-on, ongoing 1:1 support with regular check-ins, weekly themes and a full resource library – for those who want sustained accountability rather than a one-off plan. The £85 Review cost is deductible from the longer program costs.
Q: I'm on HRT – does that affect the approach?
A: Not at all. I work with clients across the full range of menopause management – on HRT, considering it, or choosing not to use it – and tailor the nutrition approach to what's actually happening in your body.
Q: Is this another restrictive diet?
A: No. The whole approach is built around ditching diets — no calorie counting, no food off-limits, no quick fixes. It's about working with your changing body rather than against it, in a way you can sustain long after the programme ends.
Q: I've tried everything before and nothing's worked – will this be different?
A: Most clients arrive exactly there – frustrated after doing "all the right things" with no results. That's usually because generic advice doesn't account for what's changing hormonally in perimenopause and menopause, or with your body and lifestyle. The approach here is built specifically around that, not a repackaged version of the diets that haven't worked before.
Q: Who is this for?
A: Women aged 40+ who are perimenopausal or post-menopausal, dealing with stubborn weight gain (especially around the middle), low energy, or poor sleep, and who want support and a sustainable plan rather than another restrictive diet.
Q: Is there a payment plan?
A: Yes, a payment plan is available on request for the Unpause programme.
